  • Situation:
As the Product Manager leading the UI/UX redesign of a healthcare application focused on rehabilitation, I was tasked with managing the redesign of a 4-year-old application.

    Task:
My task was to gain a deep understanding of the pain points and to drive a redesign that would create a more intuitive and accessible interface, ultimately increasing user engagement and enhancing outcomes.

    Action:
To achieve this, I worked with a team of SMEs and with UI/UX designers. This approach allowed us to pinpoint specific areas for improvement. I guided the design team to streamline navigation, refresh old features, and introduce personalized new features that aligned closely with user needs.

    Result:
The redesigned interface was more intuitive, enabling users to navigate their recovery journey seamlessly. The redesigned application was received positively by both clinicians and patients.

  • Situation:
As the Product Manager overseeing the integration of our healthcare app with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, I aimed to create a seamless interoperability solution that would improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

    Task:
My task was to research and implement a solution that would allow secure and efficient data exchange between our app and existing EMR systems, providing clinicians with real-time access to patient data.

    Action:
I adopted a strategic approach by researching the SMART on FHIR framework for API integration. By thoroughly understanding its technical standards and requirements, I guided the development team to create a solution that supports secure, real-time data exchange, meeting both clinical needs and interoperability standards.

    Result:
The successful integration empowered clinicians with immediate access to critical patient data within our app, improving decision-making and streamlining the rehabilitation process. This advancement enhanced clinical workflows and contributed to better patient outcomes.

  • Situation:
As the Product Manager for our rehabilitation app, I led the development of a new survey feature aimed at helping patients better understand their treatment process.

    Task:
My task was to ensure the feature’s effectiveness in engaging patients and providing insights into their rehabilitation journey, beginning with a pilot program to test its impact and gather feedback.

    Action:
I initiated a pilot across three facilities, organizing the program, setting clear objectives, and collaborating with key stakeholders to gather both qualitative and quantitative feedback. After a successful pilot, I coordinated a phased rollout to 33 additional facilities, where I closely monitored user experience and collected ongoing feedback from patients and clinicians. This iterative approach allowed us to make continuous improvements based on real user insights.

    Result:
The refined survey feature drove higher patient engagement and empowered users with a deeper understanding of their rehabilitation journey.

  • Situation:
As a Product Manager conducting discovery work for a project in the oil and gas industry, I needed to quickly familiarize myself with emerging technologies and their potential applications within this sector.

    Task:
My task was to understand the technical aspects of these innovations and assess the competitive landscape to identify opportunities, guiding the team toward a well-informed decision on whether to build a new solution.

    Action:
I immersed myself in the technical details of various innovative solutions while conducting a competitive analysis to uncover market gaps and opportunities. By combining these technical insights with strategic analysis, I worked with the team to align on a build decision that would meet current demands and provide our client with a competitive edge.

    Result:
Our strategic approach led to a solution that not only addressed present needs but also positioned the client to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving oil and gas industry, adding value and strengthening their market position.

  • Situation:
As a Product Analyst on a project aimed at optimizing workflows, I was responsible for transitioning processes from Google Sheets to Salesforce to improve efficiency.

    Task:
My task was to gather detailed information on existing workflows, identify pain points, and outline requirements to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure that the new Salesforce solution aligned with team needs.

    Action:
I conducted in-depth stakeholder interviews to understand current challenges and requirements. Leveraging these insights, I developed detailed process flow diagrams that mapped each workflow step, identifying areas for automation and efficiency improvements.

    Result:
The transition to Salesforce was seamless and aligned with team requirements, resulting in streamlined operations and enhanced data management. This shift ultimately improved the team’s overall workflow efficiency and reduced manual data handling.
